Its always puzzled me as to why new buses have brail on the stop bells…

On the newer models of First buses, the stop bells have brail on them. Fair enough, but what gets me is this…
A. Theres only one button that can be pressed on a bus to begin with. So common sense would suggest it was the bell.
and B. How the hell does a blind person know when their stop is coming up anyway?

What i want to know is, there’s signs all round my college, that all have brail on them, like for locations like toilets and doors etc.
What i want to know is, how the fuck does a blind person know where the signs are to know where the fuck to go.
